More about me...
I grew up in a large Italian family of nine children in a humble home in the suburbs of Ottawa. My father had a career as an English literature professor and my mother was a multitalented homemaker. We were not rich with money but rich in blood, my father would often say, and how true I felt that to be while I was growing up. My family and I were always together enjoying life's simple pleasures and blessings.

At 18 years old, I became a mother to an incredible son. His presence was a surprise and a real gift to me and to those around him. Although I was so young, motherhood felt natural because of the wonderful example my own mother was. I felt confident in my new role despite the evident challenges I endured.
The relationship between my son's father and I grew from infatuation to love after we found out I was pregnant. Although our path was not easy, we stuck together. Eventually we decided to grow our family and now have five children by the Grace of God, adding four little girls close in age to our tribe.
During the past 10 years, I have worked as a fashion model based in Montreal, working also in Toronto and shortly in Miami. I also worked as a Pilates, Barre, and HIIT fitness instructor at various studios and gyms downtown Montreal, teaching both group and private classes. Although I enjoyed the creative aspects of the many different modeling jobs I have worked, I left the industry in 2021 as it became clearer that the culture of the fashion world did not align with my own values. Nonetheless, I have kept and developed my zeal for fashion and still exercise consistently.
After giving birth to my second child, I wanted to put all my focus and energy into raising my children full-time; thankfully my husband was also in agreement with my desire to be a stay-at-home-mom. Today, I am a proud homemaker and also homeschool our four youngest daughters. We live in the countryside in a quaint town in a century old house.
Through The Intentional Woman, I will share my experiences and inspirations on various subjects related to my daily life: motherhood best-practices, my beauty and health secrets, home-styling tips, my fashion sense and my style photo diary from my personal walk-in closet.
