Garlic Ginger Coconut Shrimp

This dish is simple and takes under 30 minutes to make. My favourite alternative to soy sauce is coconut sap sauce- it is super delicious and healthy!

My own twist on Asian-inspired cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Wild caught shrimp

  • Green beans ( frozen or fresh)

  • Garlic

  • Ginger

  • Coconut Sap sauce

  • Extra-virgin olive oil

  • Basmati or Jasmine rice

Directions

  1. Cook your rice in a rice-cooker or stove top.

  2. Boil or steam your green beans.

  3. Meanwhile place your finely chopped garlic and ginger in a frying pan and cook with a drizzle of olive oil.

  4. Once garlic and ginger are tender, add the shrimp and coconut sap sauce in your pan and cook until shrimp turn red.

  5. Place your rice on a plate, top with green beans and then add the shrimp on top.

  6. Drizzle a little more fresh coconut sap sauce on top of your entire dish.
